I think having Mrs.Weera around changes things for the family because Nooria and Parvana doesn't have to take to much pressure and their mother is feeling a lot better now that she has someone she can talk to. Having Mrs.Weera around changed things for his family by helping Parvana's mother feel better. Mrs.Weera Came up with a plan to help them.

Parvana is so upset about cutting her hair because she thinks it symbolizes her being female. She Envies Nooria's beautiful, long, thick hair and thinks if she has her hair then maybe it will belike Nooria's one day.

I woud feel a little under pressure because i am only a 11 year old GIRL. What if the Taliban caught me? I am already scared being a girl and going around the market with my father but now I have to pretend to be a boy and make money for my family. I would feel a bit happy because now I have something that Nooria can't do.
